Wendy is a licensed instructor with the Bureau for Private Postsecondary and Vocational Education in the State of California and has been an educator teaching makeup classes for over 15 years. She has a complete course curriculum to instruct students interested in learning all aspects of beauty makeup for the print, film, television, commercial, fashion and wedding industries.

Wendy taught at the Studio Makeup Academy located at the famed Sunset Gower Studios in Hollywood while on hiatus from her shows. She felt the importance of giving back to students entering the field, giving them firsthand knowledge and experience as a working makeup artist with real world situations. There is no comparison to what it’s like being on a set, understanding firsthand what you need to do, how to handle yourself and be prepared for every situation.

Course Objective

Our training programs are designed for those who wish to acquire the knowledge and training to work as freelance, union, salon, retail or agency represented makeup artists. The objective of our training programs is to develop the artist’s skills in the full spectrum of beauty and media makeup.

What can you do with your training? The possibilities are endless! A media makeup artist never has a “boring” day! Some of the career possibilities include: Fashion, Photo Shoots, Television, Commercials, Salon, Retail, Films, Music Videos and Stage Productions.
